"We Need You."

Bismillah.

"So, class, today, we will start by learning a brief history of this particular subject. It was a result of the effort to explain the Great Depression in 1930's," said the lecturer.

"Isn't that the time when the rate of unemployment is high?"

"Yes. During that moment, even a car was sold for less than hundred bucks. Robbery was a norm. Unemployment has caused many people to commit suicide, just like what happened in China and Japan. In fact, in Germany, people would use cash as fire woods due to the high price of fire woods."

"Wow. I never thought something that is so valuable could be priceless."

"Now you know, right? Thus, it is very crucial for people like you - psychologists-to-be, to understand economy. During hard time, people will need your help."

"How about during the normal period?"

"Well, I think those who need help in managing their assets would come to see you," said the lecturer, making all of us laugh.

"Still, the nation need you. We need you," the lecturer emphasized.

My friends and I smiled.
Feeling appreciated  is the nature of all human.

However, nowadays, only certain achievements are considered as a part of success and being appreciated.

I wonder, what would happen to the world in the next ten years?
Does the word 'appreciate' still exist?

"Okay, now, back to our lesson."

It was neither sociology nor psychology class.
It was Macroeconomics.
